This clip starts off with a straight cut which follows the sequence of the scene because they start moving towards the door then the straight cut is made showing them walk through the door entering the door. As the 2 men walk in the room towards the third man, the camera slowly pans upwards. This is a very slow and intricate movement that blends in and is hard to notice. There is then another straight cut as the men start conversation. As the conversation begins, there is a shot reverse shot between the characters in conversation with each other as well as an over the shoulder shot. This little scene was very fast paced as the cuts were very  sharp and quick. Then there is more straight cuts as the 2 men walk towards another door and into a new room a man dressed in all red starts conversation. As the two men engage in conversation there is the 180 degree rule and does not break it. This has the effect that the two men in conversation are facing each other and are making eye contact. This was also fast paced as the cuts were very quick and sharp. As the characters move closer together, there is more straight cuts and the characters engage in conversation closer together. As they speak, there is more shot reverse shots and more over the shoulder shots. This is also very fast paced because of how quickly the cuts are and how close together the cuts are.

parallel and contrapuntal sound practical

 https://youtube.com/shorts/cHIHvEYjoBM?feature=share I have made a montage using a classical music sound of a violin. This is a very classy sound that gives the impression of an upper class status. The sound is parallel in the first 30 seconds of the video where the images used are of instruments used in the sound and classy images and art portraits. The sound then switches contrapuntal half way through the video where the images switch to a scary, horrific genre. This doesn't match the classy sound of the background music, making it contrapuntal.
