sound analysis

This clip uses a majority of diegetic sound such as the banging against the walls, the glass shattering, the car getting smashed, the spitting, the screaming and groaning of the men. The non-diegetic sound is used for the sound effect of the punching. This is because the punching is acted and not real, therefore needing a sound effect post filming, making it a non-diegetic sound. This clip uses parallel sounds throughout the whole scene because all the sounds heard match the scene and what is happening within the scene. There isn't any contrapuntal sound where the sound doesn't match the action in the scene. There is also a sound bridge where the 2 men r fighting and the camera switches to the people who got caught by police and u can still hear the sounds of the men fighting because if the groaning and the broken objects on the floor moving because the men are rolling on it. There is a fast-paced music playing in the background of the fight which adds intensity to the fight and is a parallel sound towards the scene. The dialogue is mostly the groaning and noises the men make when punching or getting hit, but there is shouting dialogue towards the end where the women is screaming for the men to stop fighting and the heavy breathing from the men.
