Coursework: Pre-production planning

 1) TikTok video treatments

TikTok 1:

The TikTok begins with Lila Monroe sitting alone in a café, looking bored while the opening of Espresso plays. The camera starts with a close-up of an espresso before quickly cutting to a wider shot when the beat drops. Lila then starts performing a short section of choreography, using direct eye contact with the camera. The editing will be fast-paced, with cuts matching the beat of the song. Different locations, including the café, an empty room and a street, will appear throughout the video to make it visually interesting. The colour scheme will use warm creams, greys and browns to create a fun and pop aesthetic. The final shot will show Lila putting on her lip liner through a mirror with an extreme close up of the lip liner with the name espresso on the lip liner before the screen displays the song title and artist name. The video will encourage viewers to listen to the full song and recreate the choreography.

TikTok 2:

This TikTok will be a trend that GQ does which is called 10 essentials. Lila Monet will be sitting Infront of a completely white background and will share her 10 essentials. Her song espresso will be playing in the background lightly as this is happening. At the end of the TikTok Lila will outro the TikTok and a black screen will appear telling the audience to stream her new song espresso.

2) Mise-en-scene planning
